A Chicago apartment building from the 1920s was redesigned by architect Tadao Ando to create a unique art gallery. While the exterior remains untouched, the inside has been completely re-imagined. Walls of old brick meet a stairway created out of concrete with granite stairs for a grand entrance to the gallery spaces. Each floor has Mesabi Black^® pavers, totaling almost 9,000 square feet.
