ATS, one of the world’s largest transportation companies, built its reputation on a promise to Coldspring that they could transport a 15-ton granite block from the quarry to the railroad. By the year 1950, blocks weighing up to 80 tons were being hauled. So, when ATS decided to break ground on it’s new 60,000 sq. ft. office and training center, they wanted to honor their company’s roots.
