111 Willoughby Street is a 40-story mixed-use tower reshaping the Downtown Brooklyn skyline. Designed by GF55 Architects and developed by The Michaels Organization, Triangle Equities, and Geolo Capital, the 437-foot-tall structure will feature 227 rental residences, including 69 affordable units, as well as a ministry center and street-level retail.

StoneLite® panels were selected to clad the podium level, providing a sleek, modern base for the tower while meeting structural and performance needs. The charcoal-hued porcelain finish balances contemporary aesthetics with the lightweight strength of StoneLite, allowing for efficient installation in a dense urban environment.

The podium design reflects a shift from the original bronze concept to a more restrained, elegant palette that complements the tower’s glass curtain wall and black mullion grid. The result is a refined, durable foundation that enhances the building’s street-level presence without competing with the tower’s vertical form.

111 Willoughby Street brings new housing, community space, and architectural interest to one of Brooklyn’s busiest corridors, with StoneLite playing a key role in its material story.
